Crimes of Passion is a long-ago formed side project of the notable 2nd wave gothic rock band IKON from Australia. This song is one of a few recently created for a yet-unreleased EP, for which Lisa also composed tracks for upon invite by Michael Aliani. A Dark Desire was released on a compilation album Autumn '23 by the benefit organization Goths for Sanctuaries (animal welfare).
