Solo Violin & Mandolin '17, base for JESUCRISIS "Serpiente de Nuit"
Electric Violin, Electric Mandolin
Mix/Master Miles
"Serpiente de Nuit" in full can be found in JESUCRISIS discography on their bandcamp page. There, it was released as an Exclusive Single '17 first, then as part of the Archaic Fires album , which Lisa composed and played on and is a good representation of her electric violin beyond her own solo and other collaborative work. --

Background:
Committed to beginning work together, Lisa set out on a first composition to throw past Vladimir Munoz of Chile's JESUCRISIS back in March '17. Though he first good-naturedly asked Lisa why he should listen to her music when she sent invitation that Winter, it took only one day later (and her good response to the wise-ass comment) to get back to her, defining her music "exotico, minimalista & embrujante (bewitching)," and that he needed to "first recover from the impression" that she wanted to compose something collaboratively, and then "get working on a theme..."
Lisa already had his bass and voice in mind when thinking on a dark, languid piece that her "violin of the sweet darkness" might construct. The work took shape in Pennsylvania that Spring, in Lisa's home studio, continued upon her first visit to Chile that August, and was released two years ago this month (Nov '17), just 9 months after their connecting.
Like any songwriter, Vladimir had several lyrics previously writ yet never assigned a song. Upon reading his words about the Thelemic goddess Nuit--akin to the goddess stretched across the night sky known to grace Egyptian papyrus-- Lisa told Vladimir no further selection was necessary. The finalizing of "Serpiente de Nuit" was penned and vocals created that were beautifully set to the shape of this violin/ mandolin base. The recording of Vladimir's minimalist bass (as well as hypnotic vocals) were brought back to the States for Lisa to mix and master that Fall, along with a potent deathrock drum track he uniquely constructed for the final segment of the song. Vladimir and Lisa's composing together took flight with this first mutual work.
The lyrics, vocals, bass and also Mendoza, Argentina’s Max Vdh's guitar and execution of the drum track all gorgeously flesh out this work, and Lisa was so honored to have it transform into something so gorgeous...
But as this composition base shares a commonality with Lisa's other solo work, a little gem in itself, she desired to release it as a single work.
